This application is a joint one released in partnership with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, as well as the White House’s Coronavirus Task Force and the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
Apart from the iOS application, a website was released alongside it. To download this app you don’t need an Apple account, once you have an iPhone, you are good to go. It is free for everyone. If you don’t have an iPhone you can use the website.
How to download the iOS app

- Once the store opens, download, and install the application.
- The app is size is only 15mb, it doesn’t require much memory.
- The supported iOS devices are from 13.1 or later. Compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
- The app contains not just screening guidelines and questions, it has important information on COVID 19 and how to stay safe in these trying times.
To use the COVID 19 website
If you want to use the website instead of the app, all you need to do is to visit it the website at
Click on start screening
Select from the two options listed below;
– Use for me: If you are screening yourself
– Use for someone: If you are screening a friend or family member.
Whether you select the first option or the second option you will still have to face some questions, just answer to the best of your knowledge, and honestly, as your life or someone else, life might depend on what you answer.

You can select from the list of the 50 states available to get localized information on COVID 19, along with advice, travel restrictions if any, and general tips for staying safe for you and your family.
The site has a section dedicated to making sure every visitor get helpful hints and advice on what to do this period.
About the WYFF iOS app
The COVID 19: The COVID-19 app has up-to-date information from trusted sources about the coronavirus disease that is impacting people across the world. It has a screening tool so you can find out what you should do now for yourself or for a loved one. And it gives you access to resources you may need to feel supported and informed.
The COVID-19 app is developed in partnership with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the White House, and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
You can use the simple screening tool to determine what you should do if you are concerned about COVID-19. Answer a few questions about symptoms, travel, and contact you’ve had with those who might have the disease. And then get a specific, recommended action based on the CDC’s current guidelines, such as practice social distancing or talk to a doctor.
Note: It is not clear whether wyff has a stake on this app, but that’s the general name people call this app the States now, that is WYFF iOS app. Not be be confused with the WYFF weather app.
