Before it was Bing now it’s Google. If you don’t know it search engine giant has released it’s top trending US searches for 2013, along with top Nigerian searches

So what did people search this year? The top list of searches around the globe shows a number of interesting things Bing showed it too now it’s Google the more popular searches are individuals, although they defer as music superstars were not represented on the list like Bing/Yahoo. The death of of South Africa’s former president Nelson Mandela made him very popular on the internet infact even more popular than the Kim and Kanye West marriage as he top the chart.

My predictions

ASUU strikes related searches will continue to 2014 as the premier body responsible for University education are not yet set to go back. Joint Admission and Matriculation Board JAMB in short a body responsible for higher education entry as an annual thing as such it receives a lot of internet exposure and searches.

Finally from the above list it could be said that education rules Nigeria while celebility and tech searches are king in US.
