Fix Unfortunately Google Play Services Has Stopped On Mi4i

It is quiet frustrating When you see this unfortunately google play services has stopped working error message pop up on your mi4i.
There are many possible ways to fix this problem on your Android device.
How To Fix Unfortunately Google Play Services Has Stopped Mi4i

1. Restart your device

Yes please reboot your mi4i, some times it might be a certain app that is conflicting with Google play. So a simple soft reboot may be enough.

2. Update Google Play Services

It maybe that you have an older version of Google Play Services which is not compatible with the version of Android installed on your device. But If you already have the latest version try uninstalling and reinstalling it. Download the latest Google play services HERE

How to remove Google service update
Goto Settings then to Apps, locate Google play service, from there tap on the uninstall updates.

3. Clear the Google service Cache

Go to Settings, Apps, Google play services, Tap on Force stop, and then on Clear cache. Lastly, restart your phone.

4. Clear Google framework Cache

Repeat the steps in 3, but this, time do it for the Google Services Framework app instead.

5. Remove and re add your Google account.

If those steps fails, you can remove and re add your Google account by going to Settings and then Accounts & sync. Select Google from the list and tap on the one you use for the Play Store. 
Tapping on your email address will bring up a new menu. At this point, if you tap on the 3 dots at the top right of the screen you should see the option Remove account
Select that and confirm it.
Remove your Google account by going to ‘Account settings’
Then re-add your account. By going back to the Accounts menu and tap on the plus symbol to add an account. Select Google Account and follow the steps to re-add your Google account.

6. Reset Application preference

To reset app Preference tap Reset app preferences, under Settings > App. Now restart your phone to allow the changes to take effect.

7. Do a factory reset

This is perhaps the last option as doing a factory reset will wipe out all data from your android phone.
To do a factory or hard reset on your Mi4i

i. Hold down the Power key to switch off the device.

ii. Then press and hold the Volume Up + Power button for a couple of seconds.

 iii. When the Mi Logo appears on your screen release only the Power key

iv. Keep holding the Volume Up key until the Recovery Mode appears.

v. Select English using Volume keys to browse and Power button to select.

vi. Select “Wipe Reset” by using Volume Down to scroll and Power button to confirm.

vi. Select “Wipe All Data”. Then confirm by selecting Yes.
